Western BBQ Stuff


Materials:

3/4 lb. lean ground beef

4 slices of bread

2 slices american cheese

BBQ sauce

1 tbsp. minced garlic

1 tbsp. minced onion

1 dash oregano

1 onion (white or red)

1 can baked beans or chili

 

Prepare:

Form two hamburger patties from ground beef and add garlic, onion, and oregano to each patty.  Grill patties over medium heat, flipping only once.  Just before removing from the grill, top patties with slice(s) of onion and cheese to melt.  Toast two slices of bread for each patty.  Heat beans or chili in a small saucepan and simmer.  Remove patties from grill and place on bread open face with BBQ sauce, then beans on top.  May top with diced onions and grated cheddar cheese for chili version.  Yields 2 servings.

 

Serve:

Serve with corn on the cob and a frosty mug of beer.
